Choir and Music

All Saints’ has an active, robed Choir and is affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music.

The Choir leads the singing with organ accompaniment at the 10am service of Holy Communion and also on other occasions such as the Christmas Carol Service, occasional sung evening services and for some weddings.  We typically sing a musical setting of the Communion service and an anthem.  Our hymn book is “Anglican Hymns Old and New” and we make full use of its mix of traditional and modern hymns.  We also use music from Taizé and Iona.

Choir Practice is on Friday evenings, from 7pm to 8pm in the church.  We would welcome more members to the Choir, particularly tenors and basses.

For further details, please contact the Music Leader, Paul Hedley.
