Choir and Music

All Saints’ has an active, robed Choir and is affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music.

The Choir leads the singing with organ accompaniment at the 10am service and also on other occasions such as the Christmas Carol Service, occasional sung evening services and for some weddings.   One Sunday per month we lead the service unaccompanied.  We typically sing a musical setting of the Communion service and an anthem.  Our hymn book is “Anglican Hymns Old and New” and we make full use of its mix of traditional and modern hymns.  We also use music from Taizé and Iona.

Choir Practice is on Friday evenings, from 7:15pm to 8:15pm in the church.  We always welcome new members to the Choir, particularly tenors and basses.
